K1 – Fire Drill

A fire safety presentation and drill were conducted for the Kindergarten students of the International Section on the 17th July 2025. The session was led by Sir Sandeep Gaikwad and a parent of a student of our school, Mrs. Zoomkhawala.

Sir Gaikwad, explained the importance of fire safety in a simple and engaging manner suitable for our young learners.

The presentation included: identifying the sound of a fire alarm, basic safety tips, knowing safe exits and following the teacher’s instructions.

This was followed by an evacuation drill, where the children were guided to exit their classrooms quickly and safely. Teachers and support staff ensured all students were accounted for. A live demonstration on how to use a fire extinguisher was also conducted. The children watched attentively and learned how the extinguisher works to put out fires.

Overall, it was an educational and empowering experience that helped our kindergarteners understand basic fire safety.
