For the Parents
Parents play a vital role in shaping their child's future. Their love, guidance, and support provide the foundation for a child’s emotional, social, and academic development. By encouraging curiosity, fostering independence, and setting a positive example, parents help children grow into responsible and compassionate individuals. Every moment spent nurturing a child builds confidence and resilience, ensuring that they are prepared to face the challenges of life.
Safety First
Safety is a fundamental aspect of our well-being, whether at home, school, or in the community. It involves taking precautions to protect ourselves and others from harm. Following safety rules, such as wearing seatbelts, using protective gear, and being aware of our surroundings, helps prevent accidents. It’s also important to communicate openly about any dangers or concerns. By prioritizing safety in our daily lives, we create a secure environment where everyone can thrive and feel protected.
Arriving at School
A safe and reliable transport system is crucial for students travelling to and from school. School buses, carpooling, and other transport services need to adhere to strict safety standards to ensure the well-being of children. This includes trained drivers, properly maintained vehicles, seat belts, and clear pick-up and drop-off points. The School often conducts safety drills and educates students on road safety, such as crossing roads carefully, following traffic signals, and staying seated in buses. By promoting safety awareness and ensuring the reliability of transport systems, schools create a secure environment for students' daily commutes.
Uniform
School uniforms promote a sense of unity and equality among students. By wearing the same attire, students can focus more on their studies rather than on fashion or social differences. Uniforms help create a disciplined and organized environment, making students feel part of a collective community. They also instill a sense of pride in representing their school. Additionally, uniforms simplify daily routines for both students and parents, reducing the stress of choosing outfits. Overall, school uniforms encourage a sense of belonging, professionalism, and focus on learning.
Leave and Absence
Prior permission must be sought only from the Principal/Supervisors before booking tickets. Students who do not adhere to this will not be awarded certificates of any kind.
Attendance is compulsory on the first and last day of the 1st Term, Mid-Term Break and 2nd Term.
No leave of absence is accepted except for serious reasons and is to be entered in the Non-Attendance and Leave Record in the Calendar. After an absence due to illness, especially of a contagious nature, a Fitness Certificate from the doctor will also be required.
Except for duly certified grounds, no extension of vacation is allowed. This applies to every vacation. Late arrivals who have not obtained previous sanction will have to meet the school authorities.
On his return to school, every absentee must produce his parent’s written explanation for his absence, in the Non-Attendance and Leave Record of the Calendar.
Pupils who remain absent without prior notice or absent for over a week without explanation, must meet the school authorities.
The school will not be responsible for any pupil that leaves the school campus without the permission of the Principal/Supervisors.
Repeated or prolonged absence without leave may result in dismissal. If a pupil is likely to be absent because of illness for more than a week, the Principal/Supervisor must be informed within a week.
The School Canteen
The School Canteen is a vital part of student life, providing a variety of nutritious meals and snacks that promote healthy eating habits. It serves as a social hub where students gather to relax and connect with friends during breaks, fostering a sense of community. Beyond just food, the canteen helps students develop decision-making skills as they choose their meals and encourages responsibility through participation in canteen-related activities. The School also focuses on sustainability by sourcing ingredients locally and implementing waste-reduction practices, making the canteen not just a place for nourishment but also an integral part of the school experience that supports holistic student development.
