Independence Day Celebration – K1 14th August, 2025.

Updated: Aug 18

Our Kindergarten Independence Day celebration was a colourful, joyful, and truly memorable event that beautifully captured the spirit of patriotism through the eyes of our little learners.

Our preparations began earlier this week with lots of excitement as the children helped decorate the class with beautiful tricolour decorations. They also created a special class artwork — an Indian Flag made with their own colourful handprints. It was such a joy to watch them take pride in every little detail!

Today, the children arrived looking adorable, dressed in the bright and beautiful colours of our National Flag. We began with a short, meaningful prayer, followed by a story of how India got her Independence — a gentle way to help our little ones understand the bravery and love of our freedom fighters.

One of the most touching moments was when the children stood together to sing the National Anthem – voices tiny, but filled with pride.

The highlight of the morning was a delightful skit titled “We love India”. Every child enthusiastically said their parts with confidence and charm – soldiers, doctors, pilots, farmers, firefighters, policemen, astronauts, scientists, teachers, freedom fighters, national symbols, and even Mother India! They all came together, like one big happy family — different, yet united. It truly melted our hearts.

After the performance, we enjoyed a fun craft activity where the children made flags and coloured them with block print — colourful and creative!

To end the day on a special note, each child received a small goodie — a lovely tricolour wristband to wear and remember this beautiful celebration.

Jai Hind !

Wishing you all a Happy Independence Day !
