Celebrating Independence Day

On Friday, 14th August, our Grade 2 students held a special Independence Day assembly.

Our little speakers took to the stage to explain why we celebrate this day and remember the brave freedom fighters who helped our country. The assembly hall looked bright and colourful as children came dressed in saffron, white, and green. Some students were dressed as freedom fighters such as Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, and Rani Laxmibai. Through their narration, the students explained about the struggles and sacrifice to attaining freedom for India

Alongside the freedom story, a fun and engaging quiz had the children eagerly raising their hands to share what they knew about India. The morning concluded with the students dancing to a patriotic song that had everyone clapping along.

It was a wonderful morning full of big smiles, learning, and a strong sense of patriotism!
