Diwali Celebration at St. Mary’s International

The Kindergarten, First, and Second Graders celebrated Diwali with great enthusiasm and joy. The highlight was a delightful assembly by the first graders, who presented the story of Diwali through a short skit and sang a beautiful song about letting each one’s light shine. Dressed in colourful Indian attire, the children brought festive cheer to the stage.

Fr. Yohan shared a special Diwali message with the students, encouraging them to spread light, love, and kindness in their everyday lives.

In class, students enjoyed making Diwali crafts and sharing festive treats with friends. Each child also received a small treat and a set of diyas as a Diwali gift from the PTA, making the celebration truly bright and memorable!
