The children of the Foundational Stage dressed in the colours of the Indian flag and different costumes, celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.

The celebration began with a prayer and a warm welcome to Fr. Yohan Alphonso, Ms. Fernandes, Ms. Mendes and the children.

Our little ones from FS1 presented a skit titled- We Love India, a journey through India’s story of freedom and its rich diversity. Our little learners from FS2 brought history to life by dressing up as some of India’s inspiring freedom fighters and national heroes.

Every child participated enthusiastically, taking on roles as freedom fighters, soldiers, men, women and children from different states of India, beautifully showcasing our nation’s unity in diversity. Through their performances, the children also shared a meaningful message—that even as young children, they can do their part to make India proud.

The programme concluded on a note of pride and joy as we sang  the National Anthem together, celebrating the spirit of freedom, patriotism and love for our country.
