The first grade students of the Cambridge and ICSE sections recently participated in a fun and educational quiz that left everyone smiling and proud of their achievements.
The quiz was designed to be engaging and interactive, featuring a range of topics that catered to the interests and developmental levels of the first graders. Questions covered a variety of subjects, from basic math and language to science facts and fun trivia.
One of the most exciting aspects of the quiz was the emphasis on teamwork. This encouraged collaboration, helping the young students learn the value of sharing ideas, listening to one another, and celebrating group success.
The quiz wasn’t just about fun—it also helped to reinforce key learning concepts. By engaging more than just the intellectual faculties, a sensory round—where participants used their senses of sight, sound, touch, smell, and even taste—added a layer of creativity and fun that boosted engagement and inclusivity. The rounds were designed to be both challenging and achievable, providing students with a sense of accomplishment while also encouraging them to think critically.
At the end of the quiz, there were plenty of high-fives and smiles among students. While the Keen Kangaroos, Clever Crocodiles and Witty Wolves were appreciated for their efforts and teamwork, the Brainy Bears were the clear winners!
In the end, the quiz proved to be a wonderful way to celebrate curiosity, learning, and friendship—key ingredients for a successful first-grade year.
