The playground at St. Mary’s International School burst into life on 17th January 2026, as our K1, Grade 1, and Grade 2 students celebrated an action-packed Sports Festival filled with energy, colour, and cheer. The adorable Tiny Steps Parade and the Opening Ceremony set the stage for a day brimming with excitement and joyful smiles.
From speedy sprints and zig-zag races to balancing challenges and gymnastics displays, our young champions proudly showcased their agility, confidence, and teamwork. Sparkling drills, hoop adventures, and the giggle-filled Rocket Run kept the audience cheering throughout the day.
The celebration was graced by our esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. Prashant Bangale, a distinguished Physical Education professional and an inspiration to young athletes, whose encouraging words motivated the children to embrace fitness and sportsmanship. He was accompanied by our respected our Administrator, Fr. Savio and Supervisor, Ms. Sandra Fernandes, whose guidance and leadership continue to shape the holistic development of our students. A brief appearance by our Director, Fr. Yohan, further boosted the confidence and enthusiasm of the young participants.
The grand success of the Sports Festival was made possible through the dedicated efforts of our Sports Master, Sir Sundeep, whose meticulous planning, training, and unwavering enthusiasm ensured that every event ran smoothly and safely.
The fun doubled with the lively Parents’ Race, proving that sports truly bring the school community together. As the event drew to a close, the winners proudly stepped onto the victory stand, creating a beautiful sight against the evening sky. The festival concluded with the prize distribution, inspiring speeches, and the National Anthem—leaving behind happy memories, proud moments, and countless smiles.
